阿布扎比美国国际学校成立于1995年，旨在以美国标准和国际课程为基础，为阿布扎比当地和外籍居民提供高质量的美国教育，目前正在庆祝学校成立20周年。AISA于1997年10月获得了美国中部各州学校和学院协会(MSA)的首次认证，并于2010年1月获得了国际学校理事会(CIS)的认证。AISA提供从幼儿园到12年级的教育。它是阿联酋第一个提供国际学士学位文凭的学校，后来成为阿布扎比第一个被授权提供IB小学项目(PYP)的学校。按照当地规定，中学实行性别隔离。
The American International School in Abu Dhabi is celebrating its 20th anniversary, having been established in 1995 to provide local and expatriate residents of Abu Dhabi with high quality American education, based on American standards and an international curriculum. AISA received its first accreditation in October 1997 from the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges (MSA), and in January 2010 was accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS). AISA offers education from Kindergarten to Grade 12. It was the first school to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma in the UAE and later became the first school in Abu Dhabi to be authorized to offer the IB Primary Years Program (PYP). In keeping with local regulations, the Secondary School is gender segregated.
